Workplace Brand Experience
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s workplace brought together a substantial archive of imagery spanning the organisation’s history, research and relationship with Canadian agriculture. Working with eurOptimum alongside the interior design team, I developed the environmental graphics across the space, transforming this diverse source material into a cohesive visual experience.

Challenge
The supplied imagery ranged from historic buildings, maps, documents and agricultural machinery to farming, animals and contemporary technology. Beyond treating the individual images, the challenge was deciding how this extensive library should be curated and distributed throughout the workplace — balancing subjects, scale and visual density so that no area became dominated by a single type of imagery.
Objective
I developed a consistent graphic treatment across the photographic and archival material, controlling colour, tone, contrast and composition to bring visually different sources into one system. Each wall was then individually composed to create variety while maintaining continuity across the workplace. A second visual language was developed for the curved architectural structures, using stylised botanical illustrations of wildflowers, fruits and plants to introduce a lighter, more organic expression of Canadian agriculture.
Results
The finished environment turns a broad and visually inconsistent archive into a cohesive narrative that moves between agriculture’s history, landscape, research and contemporary practice. Dense archival compositions sit alongside more restrained botanical installations, creating distinct moments throughout the workplace while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
